Proving a POINT - ANYONE who says they arn't a NEWBIE is a NEWBIE.

I truly believe ANYONE who thinks they arn't a newbie is a newbie. No one has 20 years experience in this game. If they tell you they do - they're lying.

I'll admit it, I'm a newbie.

Are you a newbie?

jimthefiend 12-28-2003 09:04 PM

newbie and proud

Theo 12-28-2003 09:05 PM

DamageX 12-28-2003 09:06 PM

Newbie and doing my best to keep the curious mindset of one. I love learning new things every day. So does my bank account. :D

Burtman 12-28-2003 09:06 PM

You're never too old to learn something new.

Burtman:)

Spunky 12-28-2003 09:06 PM

Libertine 12-28-2003 09:06 PM

Depends on your definition of newbie.
In comparison to many, I am not a newbie. Then again, in comparison to Sleazy, I probably am, so if he is a newbie I guess I am too :glugglug

If you put it that way, and use 20 years as the guideline, then Yes I'm a newbie at this biz, and so is everyone else for the most part I would imagine.

Ice 12-28-2003 09:09 PM

I have been doing this for seven years and Im a newbie. If I can't learn something new every day Im not looking or paying attention hard enough

i started selling mail order porn on the newsgroups in 92, running a powerbbs in 93. does that count for anything?

slapass 12-28-2003 09:12 PM

I tend to think of newbies as people who are just lost. I no longer feel lost so i do not think of myself as a newbie. EVERYONE needs to learn new stuff or you will no longer grow your business. i don't think that makes a newbie. 20 years is too long of a benchmark.

Just my :2 cents:

i understand exactly what you meant, and if youll read the first post after yours on this thread youll see i consider myself a newbie.

that wasnt my point at all.

and define successful?

i define it as being able to do this full time and support myself comfortably. which is more than most on gfy can say.

Alas, a brilliant comment. Time is an endless thing. Experience is a constant learning process.

pussyluver 12-28-2003 09:27 PM

By the grace of a flame from Sleazy, I am not a newbie!

The next step up is IDIOT!!

I'll never forget the day!

To be elite, ya just have to be able to make a living at this. Or have over 10K posts. Guess ya can be an elite newbie.

icedemon 12-28-2003 09:31 PM

Why the 20 year mark? If your definition of a newbie is the number of years and not the amount of experience, you get your definition mixed up I think. I'm always learning and doing new things, but I don't think of myself as a newbie. I'm not new in the internet adult business. I am new in the adult business as a whole.

pussyluver 12-28-2003 09:34 PM

Idiot is spelled idiot. Every idiot knows that.

BlackCrayon 12-28-2003 09:40 PM
