you have a dvd burner?
what kind do you have/recommend?
im looking to buy one to hook up to my TV, not my pc! i wanna burn tv shows, get rid of my VHS tapes, burn all my camcorder content, etc. anyone have one of these? Or do you only get them for your pc? thanks |
Panasonic has well priced ones. One model has a hard drive if you don't want to always burn a dvd.

nec 1300a, had for awhile now and just made 15 dvd backups and ps2 burns this weekend...works real good and burns up to 4x

Sounds like you might prefer a TIVO instead.

I agree. The new TIVO with the built in DVD player is pretty fucking awesome. Unfortunately, the price tag isn't that great. |
tivo burns dvd's?
my main reason to get it is so i can store my camcorder tapes onto dvd. |
i've got the pioneer ao3 and i can't endorse this product or any other pioneer dvd-r. i had the damn thing for about 8 months and my eject button won't work. i have to go through my software to eject/close my cd-tray. my next dvdr will be a sony, hopefully this time next year sony will have a 12x or 16x burner for around 200 bucks. fuck pioneer dvdrs:BangBang:

The new Tivo can. It's pretty kewl man. They start at $800 and up for larger drives (but I would just buy the smaller one and hack the unit adding in your own drives.) Tivo DVD |

just time scheduling? i mean for $800 i can get a badass burner lol |
Getting a Tivo or a Replay will change the way you watch tv forever.
