we have a korg triton keystation in the studio that does most of our primary beat composition, along with a roland sp808 groovebox and a couple old casios

i use reason 2.5 as well with an midiman oxygen8 - it is by far the most comprehensive softsynth for the price

for post sound mastering i use sound forge 6, multi track recording for small purposes i use cool edit but for studio projects we have a logic/protools audio setup.

check out steinberg nuendo for mtr too

fruity loops studio or fruity loops pro could work

I use Acid and find lots of royality free beats, can create anything I need with it.

Cheap and quick electronic beats - Rebirth, Reason, Fruity Loops. If you need some inexpensive music stuff done give me a hoot. I have plenty of professional gear and experience.

the sonic foundry family kicks ass & is easier to use then most - ACID for loops, Vegas for multitracking & Soundforge for mastering. :thumbsup
