the movie industry is so desperate for ideas they are making movies out of amuzment park rides. i haven't seen the movie but you'd think ppl could come up with better ideas than one huge advertisement for disneyland or whatever the fuck its from.

I'd have said that not seeing it, but I have to admit it's one of the better movies I've ever seen. It's reallly well written. The whole idea of revesing the whole find the treasure cliche alone was so clever.

I have to say watching Johnny Depp for 2 hours makes me very horny as well....I think I have some sort of fantasy about being ravaged by a very sexy pirate!! Luckily my boyfriend gave me the DVD for Christmas too :thumbsup

It's, surprisingly, not that bad. I agree, amusement park rides are a pretty bad basis for 2 1/2 hour movies, but they got lucky this time by getting Depp and some other decent actors involved.

The Haunted Mansion starring Eddie Murphy, now that's a whole other ball game. What were they thinking?
