before & after picture...

theres about a 3.5 year difference, first picture was me when i was 16 or 17 before i started lifting... 2nd picture is of me today (i look like i'm on crack, i'm sick and tired).. i saw the first picture the other day for the first time and i knew i still had that same shirt, thought it'd be cool to make a before n' after pic outta this

http://www.dreamache.com/beforeafter.gif

change can be made! jus gotta stick with it... i could have been much bigger if only I would have eaten right the first year n' a half.

:winkwink: nothing special now, i'm not getting nearly as much protein as i probably should. waffles, 4 pb&j, 3 chicken strips, 1 or 2 chicken breasts a night, one other inbetween meal (varies), ton of water.

need to start takin protein drinks again, gained a lactose intolerance last year and i had to stop takin um.

SomeCreep 12-26-2003 11:33 PM

ahh, trust me, i don't view it as work.. i spend a lot of time on the computer, it gives me time away to relieve stress and go crazy.. its something i look forward to.. having a partner at first helps, once ya go continually for 3 to 5 months, and see gains, you'll like it. ..atleast, i did.

Theo 12-26-2003 11:49 PM

great pic :thumbsup

unconnected 12-26-2003 11:58 PM

Same thing happened to me at that age..

Try keeping that body for another 10 years after you are married and have kids and a stressful business that supports 3 people and then I will be impressed

Za Ha 12-27-2003 12:02 AM

i was bout your size (in the now photo) before the summer, but now im on a diet and doing cardio cause i want a ripped look. The muscles are nice and all but i enjoy the brad pit in fight club look more.

Theo 12-27-2003 12:02 AM

galleryseek is like me some years ago. The only thing that mattered to me was my body. I was spending my half day in gym and the rest reading about it :Graucho

no i mean excited about it like me. I was more like paranoid. If there was any natural physical gain I had it. Stay clean!

mastamindz 12-27-2003 12:14 AM

I got pretty big in 1 year too :)

But its all from eating to much.

I wish you would tell the guys at my gym that. They work out for 2 hours everyday. And they wonder why it takes so long for them to build up. I always tell them, your muscles have to heal dumbass!

silent moan 12-27-2003 02:25 AM

Deepsy1 12-27-2003 02:30 AM

Couple questions if you dont mind galleryseek...

Do you feel you have more or less anxiety now than when you started lifting?

What about your short/long term memory... improved? Or did it get worse?

well... if you're a skinny kid you feel the common anxiety when it comes to physical confrontations and such... that has obviously gone away since i've gotten more muscular... but overall, i'd say yes less anxiety..since i'm able to ware myself out nearly everyday.

as far as memory, i honestly don't know. i haven't noticed any significant difference concerning memory so i assume there isn't a problem, lol.

I used to look like you in the second photo, but two years ago I started training boxing and I lost a lot of weight. I feel much better now because I'm much more fit and I don't feel so heavy.

jimthefiend 12-27-2003 08:39 AM

DaddyzHome 12-27-2003 09:11 AM

stocktrader23 12-27-2003 09:16 AM

Wow, your computer chair shrunk while you bulked up but your computer speakers are HUGE now. :1orglaugh

AdultNex 12-27-2003 09:22 AM

Nice job, so for the past year or so, you only worked out every 6 days?

I'm looking forward to working out, but my diet is really poor, meaning, I don't eat alot. It's seriously hard for me to gain weight, and I usually lose a pound or two every 3 weeks or so.

Loryn 12-27-2003 09:38 AM

Great Job!!! You look damn good!!! hmm hmm hmm :thumbsup

Oh and great pics!!!

Phoenix 12-27-2003 09:42 AM

Thats a excuse, my brother has a wife kids and gets up at 5am five days a week to train for a hour before starting his day. If its important you make time.

Kicker 12-27-2003 10:10 AM

Congrats!

What is the secret??

Head 12-27-2003 10:53 AM

heh no no... i've worked out around 5 days a week for the past 3.2 years.

and yeah, my diet was horrible for the first year n' a half... all i ate was junk food... but, i tried hard as fuck in the gym so i still made improvements.

ahh.. i'm actually 184 now... i'm 6'0... i made the horrible mistake almost all amateurs do and neglect leg workouts too much, so most of my weight is up top.. but for the past half year i've been tryin to hit legs hard... its real hard though getting into the groove when you're lacking in one area so much

but, as i've hit squats real hard the rest of my body has grown in terms of strength and size.

B Sandwich 12-27-2003 11:26 AM

yeah legs are hard to work at.

it is the wrst part of working out...but yeah..hitting your legs hard with squats will help your overall growth for sure

don't make the other mistake many body builders do...dont get too big!!!!

stop at 200 and try to work on everything else..flexibility, cardio etc

I've been hitting the gym for the last 2 months. Just got back into it. I go Monday for legs, abs, cardio. Tuesday for chest, arms, abs, cardio. Friday for back, shoulders, abs, cardio. I take vitamins and cell-tech. Even after these 2 months I see a big difference in the way I look and feel.

Rictor 12-27-2003 01:17 PM

Men should not post their pictures here. They make my wee wee shrink.

Vitasoy 12-27-2003 01:18 PM
