Awwwwww! I had a golden for 13 years and just had to put her down about 3 months ago. Not a better dog out there.. They first couple years are tough, becuase they are a bit hyper and harder to train then some breeds, but Im telling you.. its worth the effort. Not a better family, freind dog out there.

Congrats!

Im jealous! :)

Vitasoy 12-25-2003 10:36 PM

cute dog, congrats.

AaronM 12-25-2003 10:43 PM

My family spoils my dog. Here are some of the gifts that he got from them today. The CCBill hat is to show the size of the bones......Not for him to wear or chew on.

very nice dog! Great addition too your family I'm sure.

BluMedia 12-25-2003 11:26 PM

PerfectionGirls - Why did you have to put your dog down? Thanks for the input, this pup is really young a little over 6 weeks but she has been really good for a puppy so far.

AaronM - Wow those are some big bones, very cute pics of your pup how old is he? What is his behavior?

Golden retrievers are grand dogs to have....kid friendly and loyal and wonderful friends.
Congrats.

For Christmas, my youngest shih-tzu was taken to the emergency room. We don't know yet what's wrong with her. We're waiting for the vet to call with the blood results now, which is why I'm still awake.

loverboy 12-26-2003 07:50 AM

received gifts like perfumes, dozens of clothing and lots of beers!
btw, your dog looks like Chubaka (Star Wars) and i find him way
too cute:thumbsup

That is awful I hope your shih-tzu is ok. My Mom has 3 Shih-tzu's and she really likes that breed.

Thank you. Enjoy your puppy.

It was awful. Turns out she had a bad case of gas......so bad, they had to give her pain killers......plus, she was born with some anomalies.....damned breeder puppy mills.....we had saved her from a pet store....so, the gas was pushing against her spine..and since she's six years old, she's got a little arthritis...so.....poor baby....

We're picking her up today...so, we lucked out.

As to your baby.....damn..that is one cute puppy. :)

codymc12 12-26-2003 11:17 AM

Really cute pup. :)

We have two labs, and I couldn't help looking at your carpet there, how nice and clean and 'not a dark color and unstained' it is...

It's very 'pre-dog'...

:)

I got a Puppy (basset hound) when i was 17. It was the worst 2 months of my life.

The thing would shit all over the house. Also piss all over the house. I would take the stupid thing out one a hour and still did that shit.

we finally sold it. That was the best day of my life. I never felt one grain of sadness. I was glad to be rid of it.

I dont know how you dog owners do it .

tootie 12-26-2003 12:32 PM

You need to educate yourself how to properly train a dog, you also need to have *some* patience. It is certainly a commitment though.

Cheers,
Matt
