Ups Sucks!
 

They fumbled my delivery... and now I can't pick up my cigars until friday!!!?! What fucking good does that do me for xmas dinner tomarow?! I payed for 2nd day air on friday now I can't pick them up until friday morning, and of course there won't be any tobacconists open tomarow.. what a joke. Never again.

I had a guy contact me on ICQ... He'd send me some 'products' and I would send them to him. It seeeeeeems that in Finland you can't get shipping from these American companies [wink] [wink]. So he sent them to an address I made up and now he thinks UPS sucks too... He is going to send some laptops via FedEx to that same address now... I think he is going to think FedEx sucks too... Anyway, I wished him a merry X-Mas all the same!

I would call man.. you might be able to go get them if they are that important to you.

We had an order in to honeybaked ham for some shit for dinner today (someone gave us a gift certificate).. ordered last week, express delivery (ups).. supposed to be here wed.. never showed up.. xmas dinner is fucked.

Here's an idea asshat... I payed $15 extra for second day air on the 19th... Best in the industry my ass, FedEx is much better. Shipping with UPS is fine, but on the receiving end for residential it blows.

edit: UPS was my only choice from this retailer

lol - the statment just struck me as odd... he says his truck is full, will take hours before he will see the back of it -- and all I can picture is him at a starbucks sipping on a frappy with that stupid thing you have to sign on being used as a coaster while little timmy is home crying wondering where his package is that was supposed to be 2nd day....

How did they fumble - no show, left a slip? I vowed years ago to never use Airborne Express again. They habitually lied about making "delivery attempts." So far, I haven't had any major probs with UPS. Were you getting a nice order from JR Cigar?

Maybe UPS will make it up by sending her around next time...

I guess you didnt read where I said I had ALREADY put in my shift..

I had a case of Don Tomas Special Editions coming in... now what I have to square away with the vendor is weather or not they failed to include my appt. # which was submited with the sales form and is on the receipt, however not the shipping receipt. Unfortunately I could not verify this due to the holiday, however, the driver didn't even bother to drop the package off at the office, or make any attempt to find me. Whatever... no nice cigars for xmas :(

yeah i know thats exactly what the guy at UPS told me... unfortunately that cocksuckers actions speak for the company as a whole in my eyes... on the same note, all it takes is for one representative for the company (like yourself) to prove me otherwise and all is forgotten. *shrug*

I cant condone the guys actions.. but speaking for myself I look at it this way..

If I dont do it today, I am going to have to do it TOMORROW... Its simply just not going to go away.

UPS rock, it's just the time of the year... all shippers have these problems, but generally UPS is the best :thumbsup plus their CS is great
