Paysite owners: Christmas/New Year specials?
 

How many of you paysite owners (small or large) run Christmas or New Year specials?

For example, from the 24th to the 31st, offer all new members 25% or 50% of their first month, and then recur at the regular price?

If anyone has tried this, did your signups increase? Did they recur? I'm wondering if it's a good idea or a bad idea.

No.. we just make them holiday galleries. hehe

I've run specials like that with very good success. You don't want to have too many sales like that however because they come to expect the discount price and when you go back to normal, sales suffer for about a week. I run these specials for 2 or 3 days at a time about 6 weeks apart.

I ran a 50% off special up until Christmas. I didn't receive much response to it until after the sale was over! But heck, I gave them the discount anyway...

I don't have pay site yet..it should come soon,and i am shure i will give those kind of special for new year holidays:thumbsup
