Your lizard looks really healthy |
This has nothing to do with lizzard eggs, but it is not something that you see every day.
http://www.ourbeavers.com/gfy/eggs.jpg I went to feed the chickens the other day and collect the eggs and I founf these three. Two are normal large eggs the one in the middle come from a chicken that us about 5 or 6 months old. Just strange to see. |

Now that is a cute Iggy. I had one but she died after 3 years...too much stress. I have dragons now, much more stabile and easygoing. Those eggs fertilized?
|
How do they taste? :Graucho
Congrats on the eggs and I hope a couple baby iguanas pop out for ya! |
Iguanas tend to develop eggs in the winter months of the year.
A good sign that an Iguana has eggs is when she does not eat much at all and has very small stools and only poops maybe once or twice a week. When the eggs are not fertilized, they are very often re-digested/absorbed back into the body. Sometimes the eggs will not be absorbed and harden up thus killing the Iguana but this is not that common. Reptile specialists at the vet. can also spay Iguanas. I know this information because I have an Iguana as well. She is going to turn 9 soon. So far, she has never layed eggs. |
