WhooHoo!! My GF had her period!

I was so freaked out yesterday. her period was a day and a half late and she said she never has been. She is on birth control and I always use a condom. But man that was scary.

Hope its not her cysts growing though. :( She has some but wont go to the doctor to get them checked out. Damn she can be so stubborn. But I still love her. :)

I got pregnant while on the pill AND the shot at the same time. I also got pregnant while using a condom and ONLY having sex the day after my period ended each month. We thought we were taking every possible precaution. :(

I've got a fallen uterus, a painful ovarian cyst, I've had several abnormal PAP tests including one that tested as the first step before cancer, and other problems but I don't have time or money to go to the doctor. If she has both, please get her to go somehow.

jennycards 12-24-2003 12:10 PM

You must be pretty young ... otherwise you would be used to unperiodical periods and wouldn't worry about it.

I've had regular periods my whole life, so far. I'm 27 and I got my first one when I was 12. (At Christmas time.) Ever since my periods have started on the 20th of the month, exactly. Never late. I have had some brief interruptions after having babies, but that's it.

I am lucky that my currenty g/f usually has a very short and mild period. Otherwise I believe that the period is one of the most useless ideas of mother nature.

Yeah, I hate it. I have a feeling that I'm going to have to have a hysterectomy, soon. So many problems. But at least I've had my kids, already, and I don't want anymore. It will actually be nice not to have it anymore.

Time to earn your blood wings!

A day and a half and you were sweating??? Let me share some wisdom with you. When a girl says "I'm never late" it translates to "I can't remember what day this is so I'm right on time" or "I never FEEL it's late". Worry when you get to 7 days off what she thinks is "her time".

You want some fun, just wait till she stops the pill and you get a system rebalancing that can put it all over the calendar for 6 months. My wife wants a kid, but right now my bartender sees me more.

Ross 12-24-2003 12:41 PM

I bet your girl loves the idea that around 5000 people now know she has blood pouring out her bits....

:(

God men are wimps. Women talk to each other about their periods frequently..atleast when they know each other. Maybe not in exact details but in general terms. I am sure she wouldn't be totally thrilled but it is funny to watch the other men squirm in the thread about something half the population have to deal with all the time.

Well inform her that should one of her cysts rupture, she could end up dead. No joking matter and nothing to be put off. Congrats I guess :P

jabula 12-24-2003 01:02 PM

Tell her to go to the doctor. Better be safe than sorry.

We've been thinking of getting out of the U.S. I've actually been considering Sweden. I might do that someday.
