Excuse my ignorance but I just got this in an email. It's a program that supposedly searches and rips images from paysites ( movies too ).

There are literally hundreds of these programs...

As legal as ripping and copying software, dvd's, Cd's and so on. :2 cents:

Yeah, I just love it when people try to be slick and use them on my paysite. Some programs randomly change the user agent to prevent detection. I use PHP to detect heavy hitters and it will display a "High Use" error page. This page has a 60 sec countdown and will then forward them to the photo they origionaly wanted to view. People try to go around it by changing their useragent, but it uses IP for the tracking.

Damn leechers.

The program itself is never a criminal act at all, but sometimes using it :)
