Someone just offered to put a linkback to my site from his PR 6 site. Is PR 6 any good? What's the effect on my page's PR?

Anyone have an idea?

Its funny how people trade PR links now.. haha.. I dunno if people realize that PR can go down from trading with a shit site.. that does not have a very hot PR..

wrong. any link is better than no link. even if it's a pr1, just the extra *clicked* traffic that link would generate is enough motivation to exchange. (if the site has traffic of it's own that is:Graucho )

PR 6 is sweet! Considering many big TGPs have less than 5 PR.

Another thought... maybe you can maximize this link trade by linking the keyword not to your tgp directly but to a keyword jump page. This way you can build up the jump page's PR by inbound links from your other sites. This page then feeds your other keywords through links to keyword "article" pages.:2 cents:

A pr 6 is nice to have linking to you. Check it out to make sure the person has earned the pr 6 and has not obtained it through bad means. If so, then go for it. Double check to see if you are really getting a hard link from his site as well.

Is it a porn site with a PR6 (hard to come by)? Or is it non-adult?
