Long flight ahead...

I hate flying cross country. Four hours of boredom. Takes up a whole day! :(

Who's with me?

It's a DOUBLE downer if you're arriving in Chicago after such a long trip.

I would rather arrive there than have a lay over there. Whenever I travel.....I avoid layovers in Chicago like the plague.

That's where I'm going! What's the weather like today?

Head 12-23-2003 10:44 AM

I love flying. Can always read, do some work(if you have a lap top) or other work like studing. Can also sleep, drink and meet people!

I'm gonna take a stab in the dark on this one and guess:

Windy.

I used to adore flying, but recently I've had issues with motion sickness. I have to take four thousand tons of dramamine or I'm headached out and nauseous by the time I get anywhere, which makes me miserable for two days or so.

Only 4 hours? Try 9 hours with a lay over in ATL. Now that sucks. :glugglug

Me too, flying is fun. Especially now that they have good food for purchase, instead of mystery meat.

Where are you headed to?

quiet 12-23-2003 10:56 AM

i walked off a 4.5 hour direct flight yesterday evening. feels great though, got to love first class :)

Sly_RJ 12-23-2003 11:06 AM

I usually get bumped to First Class for free. It's not bad, but I don't think I'd pay for it.

Elli 12-23-2003 11:20 AM

I was "upgraded" to first class on an America West flight.. basically it was a seat a few rows farther up. No other difference at all. The overseas flights are the ones where first class is soooo awesome :) Gotta those love leather seats!
