Yeah, it's slow, but damn, think of all the $$ the new year will be bringing us. :)

Yep getting crushed. But Thursday night should be huge and I bet we have a decent weekend. Thanksgiving coughed up one of my best ever days.

it is very slow! I was wondering if it was the Holidays but anyways Im working the Holidays away and not even thinking about it...

I had one of the best weeks all year on cam site referrals. Go figure. This is actually the first "slow" day I've had so far.

It's weird.. I see all of you saying its slow and there is a holiday slowdown. Im not just trying to market our sites and bs all of you, but we had our best day of the year yesterday and we are on track to have our best week of the year this week. If anything, we have grown over the past 6 weeks, increasing every week.

Now, Im sure Christmas day will be dead, but from all indications, the following Fri. and Sat. look to be just qs solid as the days before Christmas.

Our Dec. is out pacing our Nov. by 15% as of right now and that sure was not the case last year.

Best of luck to you guys. I hope things pick for you. My comments were just to say that the Holiday slowdown does not seem to be wide spread.

I can only speculate. But I think that it could be slow because sure lots of people are depressed... so they hang out on the couch - not on the computer.

I would say that it would be fairly normal to see a slow down. Any place I have been sees a Christmas dulldrum. There just isn't the volume on the net buying porn. Last minute gift shopping maybe yes - but not porn.

Perfection: Yes, but did the traffic stay the same, or did it decrease and thus skyrocket conversion ratios?

We're having a good week. But I'm noticing more declines than normal. Lots of "submitted too many times today".

Things will spring back. Try not to worry. ;)

Ive been doing well up till supper time last nite. From then to the current time I see a rapid decline of hits and sign ups.

After doing some shopping last nite I can understand why. It seems a lot of people are out of the house last minute shopping.. Family members coming in from out of town.. etc. etc.

Holidays .... it's the first time my sites were down for more then 6 hours ... So got a 3 day brake :(

I don't think things will get better althogh last year this period all was GREAT ...


Hope Santa will think of me ... and compensait everything

my adult sites are sucking right now... but the past week i made so much fucking money with mainstream sites from people doing last minute shopping, so it's all good :thumbsup

Where we give discounts on porn. EVERYONE has a discount for a day to promote Pornmas - a time of buying of porn.

The amount of traffic has dropped off a minimal amount. Just the conversions are ugly as hell right now.

Sales are slow across all my sponsors. This goes to mainstream products as well. SE traffic volumes are lower the last days too. We're gonna experience (well at least some of us) up to 2 weeks like this

Ya it's hard to get the numbers up on the sites!

Thats the thing... traffic is nearly the same.. no huge jump at all. We normally stay in the same area give or take 2k uniques a day.. Hardly every do we have traffic spikes at all and this last 60 days is no exception.

Ratios have improved a ton over the last 60 days so that could account for the increase of course, but our sites are not any different in the way they flow or the design... I think the biggest difference is our serious affiliates have taken the time to really learn how to convert us and not just throwing a link up and and forgetting about it. Taking advantage of the 24/7 affiliate support we offer has paid off for many.

We have also seen an increase in our branding. We have become much more visable to surfers with a set of sites they can trust. Branding has alot to do with it also.

All I know is we are growing like crazy and to date.. we have seen a holiday increase.... not a holiday slowdown.

not too much spending power of clients on the holiday.

xmas kills the porn industry every year

well, i don't use affiliates so there's no reason to BS.

sales have been off. traffic steady. euro sales good. usa down.

but i know things will improve right after Christmas.

webporn is mostly a solitary activity. holiday season is mostly a family time, my kids are all home, college break, wife is cooking downstairs, etc.

so if your sales are a little off right now relax and build. spend some time with those you love and think about how good it is to be alive.

and if you don't have a family, do a random act of kindness for a stranger.

it ain't all about the $.

Certain times of year are slower - everyone who has been doing this for a long time knows that is a fact.

There is also always someone is each one of these "slowdown" threads who claims there is no slowdown and they just had their biggest week/day/month ever.

It's always been like that on the boards. :)

It's been a bit weird in figuring out this holiday season.
Last week on thurs & friday my sites were sucking big time.

But then suddenly on SATURDAY, had maybe my best day of the entire 2003 year! Since then, signups have been "average".

I think a lot of people are in the midst of traveling, out buying gifts, and/or are just plain BROKE!

But it's true that come Christmas evening and thereafter, is one of the best weeks for signups you can have.

Yea, most of the time there is a slowdown. It's XMas man! Everybody spent their money on gifts! :2 cents:
