Torque & Horsepower are the same?
 
that's what my friend is arguing. ..

i thought torque does the actual work of moving an object while
horsepower determines how fast that work gets done.

also, can an engine make torque at zero RPMs?

That's why the subaru impreza did well in the rally as it's got good tourque on a flat four engine and only 300+ BHP.

Get the gear wrong and the tourque will pull you out, just like a Ducati bike compaired to an R1.
