Old people seriously piss me off.

They should not be driving.

During the week days the roads are swarmed with them, they have horrible time reaction skills and the ability to control a vehicle. It's a quiet, boring Monday..

So what does the 80 year old woman do?

Absolutely the worst thing she could ever do, She brings danger to her community by getting behind the wheel of her car to go for a stroll around the town.

Old people driving makes me sick, After you hit 65 you should get a check up every few months or so to determin if you aren't too crazy and brittle for the road.

They should be put to death or forced to work in mines and sweatshops.

A mate of mines Dad was still driving at 98 although legally he did not have a valid license since in the UK you have to take a test every year over a certian age.

Be thankful you don't live in sunny Arizona! When you get your driver's license here it's pretty good for the rest of your life. I'm currently 35, and my license expires in 2033!

We should ban anyone over the age of 75 from driving. And - I'm sure to get flamed for this one - anyone under the age of twenty-one! Face it - It's the younger generation that is most dangerous. I know by the time I was twenty-one I wrecked three cars. Since then not a single accident.

The really old people who clearly should not be behind a steering wheel are just plain fucking ignorant...

Hell ya I agree. The only accident I've been in was at 19, since then, only one speeding ticket and I'm 32, I think. lol I think as soon as a persons hair turns blue, they should be tested every 6 months for reaction time and depth perception!

There seems to be alot of elderly people around here too, and they don't think the traffic laws apply to them, or even acknowledging other drivers on the road. I continue to see old ladies not looking when backing out... they just get in their cars, slam it in reverse and hit the gas (while looking straight ahead).

Another thing that drives me insane is when they sit on right hand intersections with merging lanes on both entrance and exit. They'll sit just watching the traffic go by, even though they can continue through the turn because they've got their own lane to merge into. Makes me wonder what's going through these morons brains.

Once there was enough room to the right of this stupid old lady, and after honking I punched it and went right around her while she was sitting there watching the traffic. It was damn hilarious. :)

hahaha, a few weeks ago on the way home from shopping, I pulled up next to an old woman at a set of traffic lights. She was bopping away to Westlife in her beat up VW Polo. And it was LOUD.

Fucking brilliant, I wish all old people were so cheerful. :1orglaugh

You know I always get pissed at old people driving b/c they should know better! Old people are thought to be old and "wise" but when it comes to driving they are idiots.

A lot of innocent people are killed and injured every year because of these old folks that should not be allowed to drive any more.

Try living in Florida and you'll really see this problem on a daily basis.

Try living next to Sun City Arizona... land of the walking dead... a 55 and over community where everyone has one foot in the grave and the other on the excellerator.

Not only do we ahve these people that live here on a yearly basis... not that winter has set in... we have all their old friends and shit in from the rest of the country where they are getting snow... so our traffic has trippled with the old people.

These fuckers think that because they are old they can do what ever they want.. turn in front of you when you have the right of way.

Change the speed limits to 15 mph

change lanes and cut you off with no turn signal and still go 15 mph.

But I do give these old fucker some credit.. there was a big news story here a while back where thee olf people were out fucking on public benches...

I read somewhere once that this is much more of a problem in the United States than many other countries. Many countries are more family oriented, so often times the children and even grandchildren help take care of the elderly and drive them around town when needed. While many other countries have a much better public transportation system, making it easier for the elderly to get around. European countries, for example, have much more accessible public transportation than we do here in the States.
