People living in the L.A area
I just watched that movie "44 minutes" about the North Hollywood shoot-out in 98' ( I believe )....how fucking crazy and intense was that for you guys/gals??
Thats some really freaky shit, but it may be no big thang to you guys....please tell me about that day for you guys. |
We had a rehearsal studio just down the street from that at the time, and we weren't allowed to go near it til the next day. I'm gald that we weren't in the studio when it happened. Was pretty scary.

I remember, I was 12 I believe and I was home and was watching it live! It was intense tho, even for my age! :(

Yeah, it was a crazy day. I wasn't too close myself but I remember by brother calling me in the car telling me it was happening and I was like whatever. Didn't think anything of it until I got home and it was something of a sight to watch on Live TV.
I have the original footage on tape here. Pretty wild stuff. Definitely a seen from Heat. |

I have family on the LAPD. You should hear the radio broadcast of that day. One of the dispatchers couldnt keep in the emotions in and broke down on the air. It was quite heart wrenching to listen to.
