Who's the best check processor out there?
 

I'm getting really tired of these check returns. There HAS to be a way to process these checks with a little more scrubbing. I want to use a second processor for checks, who can you recommend?

4 months ago I pulled the check option off all my sites, I decided to build a solution that will deter most fraudsters.

I will post once I have it live and tested and compare it to my ratio of returns when I didnt have it.

CCBILL, I love ccbill, and I'll never let them go, it's just the check returns I have an issue with, and I know its an issue with most processors, but Im sure theres someone out there that scrubs the heck out of checks.

WTS BAnk They are a great check processor and they also have collections so they go after bad check writers. Since we signed with them this is the first time I am seeing money from checks.

Intertrans has implemented a risk management system for ACH transactions. It will scrub to make sure that the checking account exist and compare the checking account number against a database with 51 million bad checking accounts in it. The database has 95% of all the checking accounts in the country. This will prevent all returns except R01- non suf., and the chargebacks.

Globill had a system where you could hold a member from entry until his check had cleared -
It only cut down the amount of check members by 10% - But all checks were good -
Shame no one else does a similar system

netbilling's check system is working OK here., they decline alot, but what gets through sticks.

i took off ccbill and ibill checking.

but, i see ibill has strengthened check security recently.
