I think this is something that will happen if the turning off of sigs starts snowballing.... people will simply post the sig code into the messages manually and force the view.

what if ignoring pay-per-post sig whores starts snowballing?

I used to do that all the time, many eons ago. I did the whole cut & paste thing, it got tiresome though.



Sigs are actually an important part of any webmaster board, for many reasons. As long as the privilege isn't abused I say encourage people to view sigs as much as possible.
