Will Office XP work fine on Windows 98?

I need to pick up Office for my main box. My secondary has Windows XP and Office XP already. Before I grab another license for this box, I'd like to know whether or not it will work fine. Upgrading my main box to Windows XP is out of the question.

Same question for Dreamweaver. I've always hand coded because I'm completely anal about indentation, but fuck it, it doesn't really matter in the grand scheme of things. Time to switch!

Any input?

It should work fine. Make sure you have enough RAM to handle the applications.

I have 512 right now but I ordered another 512 stick a couple weeks ago. It's still sitting here in the box. Haven't had time to pop it in. That should be fine, right?

why don't you throw XP on it? 98 is outdated and I cannot guarantee it will work flawless.

it may be out dated but he NEEDS win98. Maybe he'll tell you why if he cares to but upgrading his main box is out of the question as he said.

Windows 98 is horrible with memory management putting 1 gig in there will not really do much.
