I am a proud American and will probably never expatriate. But, I have to say that Costa Rica is extremely tempting. What an awesome country!
There are tens of thousands of European and American expatriates there already that have built a great little network of business people and there's TONS of bandwidth to go around.

The cops all take cheap bribes just like Mexico and you can just shoot anybody who pisses you off and throw their body into the Rain Forest.
