thats because of your quality hosting!

what kind of site is receiving all of this MEGA traffic? your like a king around here with 200k+ per day!

advertiser 12-19-2003 03:07 AM

no I just keep out of threads that dont concern me.
I dont make 1700 stupid posts.
And i dont need promote 8 or 9 programs in my sig so I can pay for my isp.

Gives me plenty of time to build quality sites.

WilTel is having some global routing issues. Most of their network is down.

Had an issue with one legacy router, that some things were not moved off of yet. One of our new core routers failed, and the legacy router did not have the capabilites to change it's routes. It seems that everything already moved to the new redundant core functioned 100% as-designed however, so there is good in the bad.

I guess that's the high level overview. I'm still half asleep.

All customers will be contacted via e-mail, with both a more detailed explanation and credit for this downtime. Unfortunately this was a rather lengthy one as it had to go up our escalation tree somewhat high at 4 in the morning.

This did not effect dedicated customers, although it did effect name resolution for every one of our customers (another thing we are moving over.)

Thanks much, and customers will know more when I do.
