5 years ago back in my last year of college I used to bartend in this italian restaurant in the chi chi part of the island. My friend Mr Izzz was the head bartender while at the time i was tending bar at a Applebees. So i started working with Izzz one night a week and so on..... I took on more shifts and this waitress caught my eye from day one..... Money was good , staff was fun.... So one thing led to another and me and her started hanging out ....

We started getting intimidate and i fell head over heals for her.
So after awhile things started getting fucked up.... One night me and the boys were out clubbing and we leave I check my messages on my cell phone...... My friend who was a waiter left me a message" Yo call me ASAP" I called and he said she came tot he restaurant in some other guys car to get her check.... She didnt take into account that my friend was working that night...

Needless to say I went off on her on the phone that night and you know the rest of the story with the broken heart and so on...

I'm still choked up about it..

I hung out with her all summer of my junior year. We dated during that time, and I just thought she was great. We got trashed together, talked a lot, and were really good friends. Then like totally out of the blue, I called her one day, and my friend answered the phone at her place.

I was sad because she was one of those people you could talk to forever without any subject repeating. She was smart, funny, hot as hell etc...

She only became hotter as time went by. Her and my friend didn't last. She wanted to date again, but I couldn't do it man... We remained friends, and I really do care for her in that capacity, but would never have dated her again.

She hasn't aged well this past couple years, and has been really unhappy in her PHD program. I found out about an hour ago she dropped out and is going home to live with her mother. I feel sorry for. Sometimes I miss dating her or being close with her, but she was a little on the wacko side in the last few years. I'm actually going to call her to see if she is okay.

Yeah, it seems like the relationships that progressively ended were easier to not be affected by. It's the ones where you just are so into them and then they suddenly dump without you even realizing it was about to happen that sting. It's like being hit by truck without ever seeing it coming.
