When requesting feedback...
...that will benefit you financially, don't do the following:
At 4:56pm today I recieved the following email from one of our account representatives at iBill. "Service is my Number One priority and I consider your feedback very important. So my Management Staff has put together a bonus structure based on my service and created a survey. The higher the score the larger the bonus. Your input is vital to my success within our Premium Department at iBill. Please help me meet the highest bonus goal as well as serve you better by taking a few minutes to answer the questions within the link that has been provided below. Thank you for responding." This guy is very good to us so I went right to the site to give him a good review. I found that the included link lead to an extremely slow loading page with the name of a different account representative. So I wrote back to our rep at around 6:20pm and get the following in response: "Hello. I am sorry to inform you that I am currently out of the office. I will be on vacation from Friday December 19th through Sunday December 28th. I will be returning on Monday December 29th." *sigh* I'd like the guy to benefit from his help, but I'm not particularly inclined to go chasing after the correct info. So, kiddies, the moral of this story is: Don't send out incorrect info 4 minutes before you leave on vacation. |
