That is during spring break, doubt any decent rooms will be under $199. Many shitty hotels in Cancun that claim 5 stars. Mexican stars are not exactly stars..... If you are going down there to hang with kids, get drunk, and party, I am sure a sleazy place would do. But I am going down there to make some $ and have a little fun.

I have stayed in many hotels in Cancun, even checked out of a couple that looked nice on the net, only to find out in person they were old and crappy. Ritz or JW Marriott in Cancun are both very nice properties.

Can I stay with you then? I dont got $700 usd a night but I dont want to stay in a crap hole!

after travelling around ecuador and staying in clean double rooms with bathroom for $4.50/night i don't see the point of paying hundreds for the same shit. :glugglug
