Job Description of Full Time Affiliate Manager..

Ok I am looking to employ someone to do this, what should i expect them to do...

Really need help and ideas here.

Ross 12-17-2003 01:28 PM

I'd be looking for them to:

Build up a good and trusting relationship with your affiliates.
Sort any problems out quick and efficiently.
Report back to you daily on what they have done.
Keep all the affiliates promoting your product.
Gain feedback from the affiliates and report to you what they want.

Some more but that would be a start.

Not really. Nothing wrong with having someone manage your stuff.

irishfury 12-17-2003 01:34 PM

Oh nothing wrong with it at all...I agree they are great to have. Any successful company has to have them. In the biz world you have to employee people to massage others egos just my two cents.

Look for someone with a proven sales record.

Success is not built overnight.

so they should expect to work long hours.

most sales people are cool with this though

Handling affiliates problems, letting affiliates know of updates or changes. Get new affiliates, keep good relationships with your affiliates so they continue sending you traffic.

I've been thinking about doing this lately, would be nice to work for a good company etc.

Hopefully you find what you are looking for Darren.
