Just to let you good people of America know that Mr Bush has an IQ of 98. Most people have an IQ of about 122-127 GFY members higher no doubt.

Now I know a guy with an IQ of 90 and he is not at all bright, in fact he has trouble understanding complex thoughts. Now, old Bush is only eight points up on this...mmm one dumb bunney.

No I never said anything as such. I didn't state he was the most powerful man in the world. You said that he isn't all that powerful. But to me being the leader of the most powerful country in the world you are quite powerful. Puppet or not he is still a spoke person for this great country which makes him very very powerful.

now we are getting into a subject way too deep for gfy. first of all what type of power do you mean?

second, i think the REALLY powerful people keep a low profile. however here are just a few that are well known that i think are powerful:

allan greenspan (can single handedly topple the worlds economy if he wanted)

bill gates (can shape how 90% of world uses a computer)

steven spielberg- (dont like the guy, but he has the power to make any movie he wants and get it played around the world. he can control emotions and thoughts of billions of people through this method. the ultimate propoganda machine)

gwb is powerful. i never said he had no power at all. but his hands are tied in a million different ways. he has so many people him TELLING him what to do, i doubt he ever has an original thought in his head.

not to mention, the built in checks and balances of the united states constitituion also help keep him from being overly powerful. it was never the intention of the constitition to make one man more powerful than everyone else in the government. that would be a dictatorship.

I would have to agree with almost everything stated in this post. Besides the fact the consistution was designed for no man to be more powerful then another but it's a dog eat dog world this isn't fantasy and there are people in goverment that have more power then others. Oh and food for thought imagine if Greenspan passed away I wouldn't want to be into stocks that day.......

In the end IQ is just a way of thinking. Like there isn't other ways..I don't think intelligence and IQ is the same. inteligence is something you have- IQ is something you want to be.

I would have to agree. I scored 153 and 157 on iq test when younger. There are certain things I am good at and bad at. I have no direction sense at all it irrates the living piss out of me but I don't. I have to drive somewhere like 3-4 times before I have it mapped.....
