When was the last time you used a pay phone ?
 

Well ?.........I don't know why I was thinking about this , but fuck it has to be about 5 years for me.

I tried to when I was in Vegas in January but the fucking thing didn't work. Used my room fone in the Venetian and it cost a fortune.....

Last time I used a pay phone was about 10 years ago

Makes you wonder if the owners of the phones are still making any sort of bank.

When was the last time you saw a phonebook at a pay phone booth. We drove all over Daytona looking for one, and had to end up going inside Walgreens to borrow theirs.

Plenty of pay phones, NO phonebooks.

I had to use one in Spain...they use phone cards, I didn't have my celly with me...roaming charges are a bitch overseas:)

In Vegas last year. The room phones rates are ridiculous and roaming in the US for me on my cell phone is even worse. All I had to call was a toll free number too so why bother with roaming fees or getting rapped by hotel phone rates.

a few months ago my cell died and i didn 't have the charger. so i pull over to use the pay phone and of course it was pouring rain and the phone didnt even work

it would have been a few years ago when aol had that exploit....

a few months ago probably. i also don't own a cellphone. always told myself i'd never get one tho im sure i will eventually.

Last week I was at the gym and had to call home to ask if I needed to stop by the grocery store before going home. I don't take the cell with me on short trips like to the gym.

Phone books are always behind the counter in stores now. THey get stolen and vandalized all the time in phone booths.

Public payphones are not dirty a lot in Canada and in the US they are more than dirty.

Vancouver to call Lange to get me into Sky Bar without waiting in line. My effing Spring cell phone wouldn't work right there. Before that . . . must be five or so years for me too.

I used one about three months ago because I was in Davis where there is no MetroPCS signal, and unfortunately I didn't have my backup ATT phone on me. And on top of that, the damn thing kept eating my quarters. I think it cost me around $4.00 just to make a local call.

Used one the other day when I had left the cell in the van. Those ind. contractor phone people have to be making some money... it was $1.00 to make the call!!! But it was windy and freezing outside... and a longgg way to the van. lol

Back when it was 25 Cents to make a call. I think it's 35 cents to a dollar now.
