Looking at your list they all seem rather violent for his age.

Thats the grand theft auto one right? I was looking at the some of the ratings? Not cool... I didnt realize how bad some of these games are.

NBA Street Vol 2 - Safe for a kid though I would say this is for two players, he will get bored playing this alone after a while.

Grand Theft Auto: Vice City - NO NO NO - how on earth this ever got released is beyond me. Granted its not a bad game but its a bit too real - et him borrow it of his mates.


Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell - Now this is a great game and will grip you worth a go.

I sware to this day I have never seen anything like it in the UK stores. Even the missus let me pay this when she was in doors as it has such a wonderful feel about it :-)

I heard ICO was a good game, most of the others on the list are shooters (run around and kill people) so the list is probably all M rated minus the sport game.

do you boys play uyour mates at Madden and Basketball/baseball games?

I ask as we often have get togethers and play soccer against one another.

I just bought it...it is fucking good. Good combination of 1 player and 2 player fun. It is violent but it is within a confined ring, unlike GTA. And Wolverine is a good character for kids...

Convince the kid's mom that Vice City is the way to go, buy both games off of eBay for the price of two in Future Shop; then hide Vice City in your room for yourself...

Never played the PS2 version... but Return to Castle Wolfenstein is a great game. The multi-player on-line version really kicks ass.

Return to Castle Wolfenstein is the best game I've played on PS2 yet! :thumbsup
