Stick it 10 minutes a day on your stomach and it will make it nice and slim.

Yupp, less fat, but white meat like chicken is fatless so or so hehehe, you won't lose 20KG with just using the grill, if you want to reduce your fat or whatever do some sport, thats it :Graucho

Tam 12-16-2003 07:12 AM

Yup, I have had one for a long time and it does cook all the fat out........ how can it not? It smashes the living shit out of everything that goes near it..... LMAO

BUT I love my Foreman grill.......

marinate chicken or shrimp in Zesty Italian Dressing, and slap it on that grill........ damn that is some good shit, and healthy too, AND not dry. :winkwink:

what's good with that?
meat with no fat???

hello taste where are you?:Graucho

Triple 6 12-16-2003 07:19 AM

i wonder how salmon comes out on it.\\

i use it for burgers and whatnot and its pretty good. I take the fat that drips out and throw it in the blender with 3 strips of bacon, for a zesty shake that will get your heart pumpin.

The prices have really come down on them..... you can pick up a single one that does 2 burgers for like $20.... the one I have cooks 5 I think and I only paid $60 for it...... and they have a bigger one as well, and I think that one is $100..... so not bad.

And taste isn't sacrificed if it is done right........ I am not into burgers cooked on it because they are so damn dry you'll choke to damn death... but for everything else, they are great. Just marinate your meat first and you won't lose any taste.

We've done salmon a few times. It comes out great, IMO, but a little on the crispy side according to my fiance. I wish there was a way to turn down the heat a little sometimes.

We use ours all the time. I read an article that said that it doesn't really reduce the fat, but I can't find it now. Basically if you cook a hamburger in a frying pan, the grease comes out and stays in the pan. In the Foreman Grill, it runs down into the drip pan thingie. Whatever. What I like is that it's fast and easy to use when I'm tired and cranky and don't want to cook anything.

Bode always kept his in the office at ST when I was there .... never once used it, but the little collector dish always had some fat in it.... so the fat collector works!

they are great. I personally like to cook chicken and steaks. once tip is when cooking either, as its cooking, cut up into smaller pieces. my foreman tends to cook the outside more than the inside on thicker meats.

You won't lose fat from your body by removing fat from your diet.

The foreman grill is handy though, I use it quite a lot.

Pretty much use ours for burgers. Great little grille.

myjah 12-16-2003 03:34 PM

love my george foreman. the trick is to make sure you don't overcook with it - things get done really fast on there

Sarah_Jayne 12-16-2003 04:51 PM

loved it so much I bought one of the double kockout ones and use it just about every other day. If you learn the timings it does steaks and pork chops really well and does fabulous grilled onions and mushrooms. Also, when you aren't in a healthy mood it does kick ass grilled cheese :)
