One of my favriot book series for those that havn't read it go out and get the series now you will thank me :thumbsup

:( I am affraid that you are dating yourself my friend. The chronicles about the House of Amber and the pattern are almost classics at this point. It has been close to 20 years since I took the journey, what a great series of novels. I actually just recommended them to a friend! :thumbsup

yeah they're great.

Just recently someone tried to write a new Amber novel, Zelazny's son or something like that, it was horrible.

So was the new Dune novel btw... sons should never try to follow that closely in their father's footsteps.

Yeah this series is like nothing that has captured me in quite sometime it is one of the only books I tell people to go out and read.....

I read an Amber book many years ago. It was okay but was kind of hard to get into especially since I never read the first one. The one I read was a few books into the series and I found it a garage sale. I think it went into another yard sale...

You have to read them in order....The author really makes you fall in love with each char. Plus they evolve so fast throught the series you miss one book and your lost.....
