This is primarily aimed at new adult webmasters. Personally I have only joined 3-4 sites from which I promote. Kinda scary to think guys are selling something they've never seen isn't it?

Most sponsors will give you access to their sites if you ask. They might require you to make a few sales first, but most of them will do it. It really helps if you know what you are selling.
