Saturation... tgps submissions are almost obsolete.

Everything seems to be saturated these days. No matter what it is from design to affiliate programs everything seems to be filled up to a point where any new or good idea is not long after saturated and eventually killed.

i dont undertsand why people with little or no business expierience still continue to join a market that is already capped to a brim.

as far as immiediate outcome soon tgps will no longer need or want daily submissions from people unless they are their top partnered accounts. there is enough programs out there that offer hosted galleries to fill up a tgp for long term and of course as we have seen easypic do is only accept paid submissions. also tgp webmasters have started to hire fulltime gallery designers to promote their own programs or affiliate links.

also another option is creating deals with other tgps and hire people to broker content to them at bulk and low prices. the question is why make others money when you can fill in links yourself and make the money for you. many established sites are starting to realise this and have already started mass production to fill spots for months on end.

so if you are a submitter you can soon say a big bye bye to the already dwindling acceptance of galleries.

thats why people should be working on their own programs and their own traffic sources instead of making tgp galleries all day

TheJimmy 12-15-2003 05:48 PM

what are you talking about?

I hope another 1341234123412341234 people join this biz...

I don't submit. Run my own tgp that doesn't take submissions. I'm gonna get RICH! :thumbsup

Exactly, even the small free sites I run, I don't take submissions! I think it is almost obsolete! I don't know how long free daily submissions will be around either, but that could be a good thing to see them disappear!

:thumbsup, your domain on bathroom stalls is the way to go...

I am not posting anyones galleries but mine right now. That may change in the future. Most of the big ones are still accepting submissions, so I still submit to them. Some of them post my galleries every day. I think it is going to trend toward paid slots soon.

yepper even with large category tgps, u can still fill the top 10 spots as your own, why on earth make other people money when you know that the main links clicked are the top 10. and newbies will always submit fillers, even those are not needed if u make your system of making galleries correct.

Easypic did the best thing a tgp could do.
Charge a small amount from submitters in order to submit galleries and get listed.

Fore easypic:
1) Less reviews for them to do.
2) More quality galleries
3) Less cheaters
4) More money

For the submitters:
1) Getting listed
2) 10 galleries per day!

I never submited to easypic before this $100 thingy have been made... because I don't submit to tgps where I don't have a partner account... making galleries with recips and shit and not getting listed in the end? FUCK THAT!

GeXus 12-15-2003 06:13 PM

Yes, that is because 90% of the programs out there have cookie cutter sites, with bad quality content..

People will still make money submitting, but no where near as much as if they were to submit their own unique site.. its becoming much more demanding for niche sites, then just regular teen or amateur sites...

BlackCrayon 12-15-2003 09:00 PM

hmm, i hope not. i just bought a shitload of content and am planning to buy some spots soon. tho i will also be making frees sites and the like with the content too. i would open a tgp of my own, maybe i will but im too lazy to review submissions so it would have to be all my shit. oh well. submissions bring in unique content and designs tho, also some cheaters and assholes and dipshits who use the same overwhored sponsor content but thats life. gonne be some of them everywhere you go.

Ya know, the bathroom stall thing is a good idea...after all, everyone's gotta go sometime. What else does everyone gotta do?

The majority of the country spends their time on their butts watching TV and between shows, they spend time on the potty. I'm at a loss as to where the next biggest form of advertising would be that hasn't already been done.

Nickless 12-15-2003 09:41 PM

paid spots is the only way to go nowadays period.
