It depends how they do it. I think that he should die VERY slowly....for example they could force him to listen to all the Eurovision song contest winners for the past 20 years....while at the same time interspercing Ben and Jaylo films with Madonna and Guy Richie films.

I figure he would last about 72 hours before he grabbed the gun on the table and shot himself.

No, I don't think we should televise. The Middle East has seen too much violence and inhuman treatment of people. After we get everything we can out of the bastard, he should be executed and pictures taken of him dead, like his sons, and shown to the people of the Middle East so they can see for themselves that he is truly dead. That way the other leaders of their world cannot tell their people that Saddam is not dead in hope of repressing more people with the fear Saddam has already installed.

You dont agree with the death penalty until someone from your imediate family is brutally murdereed which God hopes never happens.
So if a 10 year old girl is brutally raped and murdered, and there is total proof, we should spend tax money to keep guy bottled up with chance he will get out and kill MY daughter next time... OR spend a few bux and be rid of him.

I couldn't agree more. I don't see what could possibly be good about throwing MORE death and killing in their faces. Let them see he is gone and be done with it, no need to make them sit thru it or have it played on TV.

ANY televised execution is wrong in my opinion. Yes I can change the channel, but I just think it is wrong, on so many levels.

An execution would just turn him in to a martyr... lock him up for, what's he have left to live...? 10 yrs tops? (I'm thinking their life spans are a bit shorter but I'm not sure how much).

Put a TV camera in his cell so people can tune in 24/7/365 and see him in that cage.

I don't think they can legally execute him, either way it won't happen. He doesn't deserve to be made into a martyr anyway, which is what the crazies would consider him if he was killed. I say let him rot in a cell for 30 years with nothing but a piss bucket.

I believe many of the stories about him have been grossly exaggerated to garner American support against him.

His trial will be interesting. I think there's some things that could come out that make the US media afraid to cover parts of it.

As it is, they won't touch the subject of us instigating his attack on the Kurds. We essencially gave him the go-ahead to do it, and then used that attack as reasoning for the first war.
