still, his acting was just right to portray J. Sparrow,
funny and full of adventure from the start to end.

Its obivous that they made him look all pretty with the eyeliner to attract the ladies.

Its one of those secrets of the industry, if ladies like it then the men will be forced to see it

when I first saw it I thought he might be modeling his performance after a drag queen but then in an interview he said that he actually modeled is after Keith Richards. When I watched it on DVD, knowing that, you can tell that it's Keith and it's right on target.

Unless the men still have their balls attached.

No way, he fucking rocked, and so did the movie!

He was either drunk or pretending to be sick from the fever he caught while being stranded on the island, when in fact he was only there for a few hours... I guess he was trying to convince everyone he had a much harder time escaping. I watched it the other night, i think they even had a line where they joked about how he was acting sick/drunk/weird all the time...

Depp's character's manerisms were based on Keith Richards that's why he looked gay or borderline retarded.
