What do you tell your dates?
 

I meet this girl the other night and I have a date with her on Thursday night. I'm not sure if I should tell her what I do up front.

Is it better to leave it and wait for 2-3 days or tell her up front?
She seems like a really nice girl and I would like to make a go of it.

I have been on dates were the girl freaks out when I tell her what I do, but maybe I was unlucky all 4 times. Those 4 dates started well, but once the words "porn" or "sex sites" were spoken it went to HELL and back!

But honestly, it depends on the girl....if she's sensitive etc, then you should wait. After she knows you well and see that you're a nice guy, then it might be less shock for her.

It's not what you say but how you say it, I'm sure if you explain to her what you do on a business level she shouldn't freak out or then again if she doesnt ask then dont tell her.

test the water first, tell her you work with internet traffic or something ... people who look for books you send to amazon.com and ppl looking for adult stuff are send to adult sites and if they buy you get a %. See her reaction and take it from there !

Never say porn or sex sites, I say Adult websites! :) But I would wait if she is the sensitive type like said before. Cause I had a few girls, that I told them after they knew me, and they were totally cool about it!

THis is very true! Telling her youre a pornographer might get you laid a bit quicker than standard methods.

Tell her you're in e-commerce and leave it at that, until you've known her for a while...

Two reasons:

1...It's NONE OF HER BUSINESS what kind of services'products your business produces.....you don't even KNOW her yet.

2...You shouldn't be spending all your time talking about yourself and your business anyway.....ask her about herself, and don't tell her everything....she'll be more intrigued.
