3rd party stats + 3rd party processors?

How exactly do 3rd party stats and 3rd party processors work together? Confusing since 3rd party processors have their own stats software. Makes me wonder how the two can work together. Does it transfer the processor database to the stats software or what?

They usually work together. However, if you run a per click program you can have it set up where the counting and the stats are separate.
