CCBill/iBill/Epoch - Who are their processors??
 

Does anybody know or can CCBill (or the others) provide who they use for their CC merchant accounts? I talked to a person at one of the two merchant services that provide merchant accounts for adult sites. There is some big shit coming down in the next 2 years, so I'm curious on what place these 3rd party billers go through for their merchant account?

I'm not going to say until I have it confirmed from another person in the company. I don't want to start spreading rumors, until I find out that this thing is really going to happen. Even if I do get it confirmed, I might not tell. It would be a big advantage to me to keep it to myself (and some close friends).

I'm mainly curious on who some of these 3rd party billers do their merchant account business through. What I heard might or might not affect them.

First of all, you don't know me. Second, this isn't from a friend of a friend. This is from a person that knows what he is talking about and works high up at one of the companies that takes adult merchant accounts.

So if hes so high up and knows within 2 years shit will happen and you are so close to him cant he answer your question?

Just ask the processors.. send them an email.. they will tell you.

bla bla...two years is an eternity in this biz. And if you heard something, post it..don't come with the "I heard from a high level person blah blah" shit like everybody else does.

This thread isn't about what I heard. It's about who some of these 3rd party billers process there credit cards through. I wish I never mentioned it now and just asked the question. Of course then I would be asked why, and then would have to say I heard something and then I get into the blah blah blah your talking about.

Like I said, I'm just not going to spread rumors until I know for sure what I was told is going to happen.

I don't know which banks these processors use.

But does your "rumor" affects only 3rd party processors or all adult merchants? I honestly believe all 3rd party processors will disappear within 2 years.

If what I heard is true. It will affect all "new" adult merchants that want to process credit cards through the company I heard it from. Rather it affects adult merchants currently processing through this company, he didn't know.

He gave the impression that it will eventually affect all adult merchants, no matter who they process through. But it sounded like that won't happen for awhile.

Ok, well you gave us a "little" hint, so I'm going to name off the current processors of adult and ones that previously accecpted adult merchants that may or may not still be letting 3rd parties use them.

First Bank of Beverly Hills (FBBH) (era 96-98 ish)
Humbolt Bank (pretty sure just told everyone to GFY)

I'm sure there are and were others but those are what I know of.

I'm sure Mitch can help confirm some of these.
