*.VOB - can they be burned alone?

Or would I need to create IFO files for them? I have te main movie cut into 3 chunks in VOB format, somethign fucked up and the menu doesn't work so I need to knwo if I can just burn the vob files to DVD-r and if it will start playing automaticaly

buy them in bulk like I do. I can't even begin to tell you how many DVD's I've trashed becuase of tweaking menus and what not.

I've already trashed my first dvd-r on monday, made me quite upset lol

I converted a handful of "dead like me" episodes from divx to svcd... something musta gone wrong cause the sound was about 15 seconds ahead of the video.. totaly unwatchable..
