Why do webmasters use icq?

at one point, almost everyone used icq so everyone ELSE had to get icq if you wanted to talk business.

ICQ is faster than MSN, and you can leave offline message (msn don't, you need to write an email)..

I use ICQ because I've used it for... gosh 7 years or something now. MSN is kind of lame, if you want my opinion. Any messenger software that installs that much other bullshit and propeganda is bad news in my books, especially microsoft shit.

I wouldn't use it for biz,or even want too, it's scanned actually through a computer and tracked throught the CIA?/ Feds.. mainly the feds.. not sure about EU countries? looking for peds etc.. this is what I make of it.. there tracking it..:ak47:

I'm not sure about other mess programs perhaps,but; when I was over in France/paris awhile ago,I spoke to a gent over in the library they mention to me that chat forums through them are monitored and most of EU will fly this way very soon.. they have a vast wall of puters with free email service like most do and is looked into

they'll track you find out all sorta's of info on you.. you need to do real biz pick up the phone.. do an one-on-one not on ICQ your having a 1-on-10 or more.. he.he. enough said l8ter..

Yes, but there's certain levels of security monitoring but ICQ
is pretty darn indepth worldwide they don't charge a fee yet to encourage everyone to use it even the bad apples.. it's just a catch all net effect for the boys to snoop..

icq has it's good and bad points. mine hasn't worked properly in over a month, even after a fresh install. looking into Trillian aws....

Trillian - I run 3 aim handles / 2 ICQ / 1 MSN / 2 yahoo all from one interface.

Its also skinnable :)

AIM compared to ICQ is much better... ICQ, a lot of the times, doesn't send my fucking messages... and i don't recieve others either. never have that problem with aim.

im guessing its because it was i think the first messenger client out there. i remember way back in the day the only thing i had was icq. there was aim but i don't recall anything else. used to work fine most of the time till one day it just stopped working for me and i had to install icqlite. no problems other than messages don't always send :BangBang:

I actually use Miranda (Similar to trillian) with 1 icq uin and 1 msn account to talk to the sheeps using MSN.
