should TGPs auto-maximize?
Should TGPs auto-maximize?
|
I should have put a third "I don't know" option. Just don't answer the poll if you don't know.

bump for a good post

NO
|
I don't think they should, for obvious reasons.
|
No. If people want to view full screen, they'll maximise it themselves.
Auto-maximise often fucks up the default size of the minimized screen in IE by making it huge, so there is almost no difference between the size of a minimized window & a maximised window. |
I dunno about maximize. How about auto-minimize! I think that's the solution.

But sometimes this happens...
A site popups a small annoying popup, which the surfer closes, then clicks a link that goes to your TGP, and your TGP opens in a new window the size of that original small annoying popup... I hate having to resize windows, so other surfers must also hate it too. |
Yes, they should. Reminds me to close the window :2 cents:

auto-maximizing is fucking rude :321GFY

auto-maximize is completely unneccessary. If your site is in a pop-up, then make sure it pop-ups to a nice dimension, but not maximized. Say, design the site for 1024x768, so make that the window size. But no auto max, please. I hate that.
