MGP ... a few questions

I would like to test something and I need to send a few movie galleries to MGP/TGP

can you tell me please, what standards are actual right now? (I didn't send movie galleries about two years)

are three 500KB+ files per page enough?

is it still allowed .avi (divx) format?

To get listed at most places, you'll need three 3 1MB+ mpegs per gallery.

This doesn't apply to every mgp, some except wmv and less than a meg. it's just with three 1mg+ mpegs, you shouldn't have a problem getting listed.

btw, use your name Niki as a nick:) Something about a female submitter, i just don't know:)

.avi (divx) files aren't supported more? ... the quality is much better

I know, submit them to me and i'll post 'em.

It's just most mgp owners put compatibility before quality. I mean if someone doesn't have the divx codec installed, then you get complaints. Although I'll post divx, I can understand where they're coming from.

Remember, there's really no "Standard". It's just you can't wrong with mpegs.

I made up the 1 min rule for movies..
2 x 30 secs
3 x 20 secs
6 x 10 secs
10 x 6 secs etc, you get the point

movies are preferrably wanted in mpgs.

just rules for most sites, other ppl may want other stuff
