GDZIE MIESZKALEM - does anyone know what is it?

Hi there!

I need your help... a friend of mine needs to know what does it mean for some work and he doesn't even have a clue of what language is that (and neither do I).

So anyone can help me out with it? If you don't have a clue, be funny at eleast :-)

Thanks!

Kisses,

Milena

It's polish.

And what does it means?

MattO 12-12-2003 12:36 PM

Gdzie Mieszka means "Where it lives" (literal translation)
I believe Mieszkalem is the plural of Mieszka but I could be wrong.

"Gdzie Mieszkalem" - has nothing to do with plural. ryph above wrote it correctly. It means "Where I lived". Polish language omits pronouns in most cases. They are expressed in endings instead. "lem" is an ending for masculine, simple past form.

I mist add that "Gdzie Mieszkalem" is most likelly a part of some sentense. It doesn't make much sense on it's own. Must be something like "The place, where I lived" or "Do you know where I lived before?".
