Got the flu
 

uggg....starts with a bad sore throat and goes downhill from there....just woke up from sleeping almost 24 hours...this is a bad one... :(

anyone else battleing this fucker? how long does it last?

I just saw a segment about it on Fox! They said one man died of influenza in San Diego and a 13yr old MIGHT have died from it and it's even crazier in some of the other states. The emergency rooms in some states are full and they ran out of vaccinations, but it's a rare strain of influenza that's hitting lots of folks and there's no immunization for that particular strain.

I think I might have it but I'm not sure. My throat feels dry/itchy and my eyes have been feeling "heavy" all day like I want to go to sleep, not sure if I'm sick or tired. I hope it doesn't get worse! I haven't had close contact with anyone, I mean, no one coughed in my face or anything and I haven't been around a lot of people lately.

i was sick for a week.. then fine for a few days.. just started getting sick again last night...

hah, funny thing about the Flu Season that I learned the other day...its not really in october/november/december. Its actually march/april/may, I believe it peaks sometime in March. Only reason we get vaccinated around this time is to allow our bodies to build up enough anti-bodies.

My friend used to use phogirl007, and I wanted to pick a number that was easy to remember so I picked 69.

i'm on my 6th day of it...the highlight was the two days that I had a 103.2 temp. Now I just want to be able to eat something other than soup and stop chocking everytime I lay flat.

You people with the flu you need to get medical attention quickly. The strain of flu going around now is the worst they have seen since the sixties.


It's all over the news many people that are dying from the flu this year are dying because they are not getting the proper medical attention they need as quickly as they need it.

Dehydration is setting in much quicker with this strain of the flu and harming major internal organs quicker.

For you fuckers that want to know what I know to speak about this I am a certified EMT and this is my training. I have been on many calls this year where it ended up with people having major problems like kidney failure. Just last week we brought a little boy to the hospital here in NC and he ended up dying because his parents waited to long.

Get to the hospital now if you have the flu. This is serious this year.

It's fucking bad, i puked for 8 hours stright in 20 min intervals. Thank god im better now
