Google Apologizes.
There's been a lot of anger and frustration since the Florida Updates. Apparently, Google understands the fact that people's businesses rely on Google results. Craig Nevill-Manning, Google's Senior Research Scientist, said, for what it's worth, "I apologize for the roller coaster. We're aware that changes in the algorithm affect people's livelihoods. We don't make changes lightly."

I don't see that as an apology. He says that serious changes were made and they didn't make this decision lightly. I don't see them saying the changes were a bad thing or wanting to revert back to an older index.

Hey, its rocking now. But the kids know its a piece of shit. |
There's really no need to apologize. If advertisers want people to know their product, they should buy advertising.
Google's primary loyalty should be the people using their site to search. |
