New CCBill Affiliate Admin System is NOW Available

New CCBill Affiliate Admin System is NOW Available

CCBill is pleased to introduce the new Affiliate Admin, offering our Client?s Affiliates the most advanced assortment of Administrative and Reporting features available to date for the effective management of their affiliate activity.

The new system was designed with our client?s Affiliates in mind. Featuring the same easy-to-use interface and advanced display functions as the CCBill Webmaster Admin, the new Affiliate Admin System allows our Client?s Affiliates to monitor and track their affiliate activity with even greater ease and efficiency. Designed with built-in Java? applet functionality, the new system allows Affiliates to readily display, format, download and navigate data in order to best meet their reporting needs.

In addition to enhanced functionality, the new system also provides Affiliates with new and improved reports, offering them more detailed and comprehensive information regarding their affiliate activity. The new reports were designed to minimize the amount of navigation necessary to access the information they need by consolidating relevant data previously contained in several reports into a single, comprehensive report whenever possible. The new System also features a new Conversions report offering Affiliates valuable information on their affiliate signups and conversions.

In the near future, the current Affiliate Admin will be phased out completely and all CCBill Client?s Affiliates will be given automatic access to the new system. However, to take advantage of these new & improved features today, if you are an Affiliate of a CCBill Client, simply log into the Affiliate Admin and click the Yes button when prompted with the option to switch to the new System. Upon submitting your request, you will be sent an email outlining all the new features available in the new Affiliate Admin, as well as some simple instructions on how to gain quick access. (Please note, when you choose to be converted, you will loose access to the current Affiliate Admin.)

CCBill strives to continually provide new and innovative solutions for its Clients. It is our hope that the new Affiliate Admin will provide our Clients and their Affiliates with a useful tool to help better monitor and evaluate the productivity of their affiliate activity.

What if we didn't get an option to switch to the new one?

corvette 12-11-2003 04:52 PM

should be up in a few minutes, fletcher

corvette 12-11-2003 05:05 PM

just so everybody knows, we are releasing the new admin in waves. By next week, everybody should be on it, albeit gradually.

everyone should have gotten the option by that time to have converted to it

trying to get my stats and all I get is this screen with a big $ sign and some text saying "Request sent. Waiting for server response..."

PLEASE DO SOME CROSS BROWSER/PLATFORM TESTING BEFORE YOU RELEASE IT

fletcher 12-11-2003 06:29 PM

Mark,

Not a huge deal...but some of the items on your certificate cause Java warnings because it's self-signed and the domain doesn't match. I'm sure it's just a beta thing.

Does look great like I said, but Im getting the same problem :-\

Edit: Working now :)

corvette 12-11-2003 07:20 PM

Pudcat, that sounds like the page one would get when the reports is requesting data from the server. You might have a lot of data that is getting pulled. If that page does not populate or you get some sort of error, icq me and I will pass it onto the developer?talking to him right now

Fletcher, the certificate issue should be resolved once everyone has been moved onto the new affiliate admin?.temporary issue.

Anything else regarding the new stats, submit a bug report and it should get taken care of right away

jimmyf 12-11-2003 07:22 PM

I'm doing a report for 2003-12-1 to 2003-12-10 and it's been Loading for about 4 or 5 min.'s :Graucho there's really not that much data, the old one took about 2 or 3 seconds. still loading

jimmyf 12-11-2003 07:24 PM

Clicks and conversions are nice... but now we have to add them on our own?

jimmyf 12-11-2003 07:26 PM

Not necessary, we're on it. I'm not sure when we will be able to add it though as not everyone has been moved yet.

corvette 12-11-2003 07:44 PM

Keep in mind that this was just released a bit ago and everyone is going in all at once to check it out. The server load should go down soon and the reports should run quicker.

This happens every time we release a new version of one of the admins

Ok I'll wait one week before I use it. :winkwink:

TheMaster 12-11-2003 08:05 PM

Better layout, but it seems slower, have to refresh sometimes.

A suggestion: what would really be great is a desktop program for the affiliate admin, might also make things lighter on ccbill's server.

Good job, keep innovating and try to get Ibill accounts, they suck and I'm sick of remembering and loosing all that login data and lack of information in the affiliate area.

corvette 12-11-2003 08:53 PM

has the speed improved?

reynold 12-11-2003 08:57 PM

Good! Finally. The old one was kinda hard to navigate.

it's working now...

preferred the old one but some people like fancy graphics that take a while to load...

I would have been content with a form to change the old start querystring (used to do it manually to get the last couple of days)
