Anyone else have the flu?
 

I started getting sick yesterday. Abnormal fluids coming out everywhere, tepmrature like 103, not fun.

Keep seeing on the news that it's killing kids due to a secondary bacterial infection. Kinda scary. I might actually have to go to the doctor. Either that or it's the siphilis acting up again.

mine is getting worse everyday. got sick since
Monday and so far, medicines aint working for me.
can't even eat properly, i guess its bcoz of the weather.

Mine started yesterday. Head feels like its going to explode. Can't breathe for shit. Achy.. etc. etc. Im in relatively good shape so I should be able to shake it in a few days. If it carrys on for to long I will head to the docs as well.

We got our flu shots early on so thusfar it's helped us avoid things (knocks on wood). However a friend of mine and her three kids picked it up and they are 14 days into it, and still not any better.. It's awful. Best of luck getting over it quickly.

LadyMischeif, I hope to god this dosen't last more than a week for me, I'm sorry to hear about your friends, especially the little ones. Just took my temprature and aspirin seems to bring it down a little better than a degree. This is kinda weird, I NEVER get sick. Then all of a sudden I feel like someone hit each one of my bones with a hammer.

Last time I was sick was just in time for the last Janurary Internext.....so at least I got it over with BEFORE the show this year.

yep, I've had the flu for a couple days now. Today I am finally feeling better. I'm about 85%. We've been hit really hard up here in the NW.

Yep. I think I have the flu here too:( I have been sick since Monday and I just seem to get worse. I called the doctor today and am waiting for a nurse to call me back.

My back hurts, my head pounds, I have a fever, my nose is stopped up, my throat is sore and I am coughing up...well I won't go into that:)

I sure hope we all get better!

Yup...so bad i couldnt sleep last night...
My whole head hurts, my eyes hurt, my ears pop...

I guess this is the positive thing about working at home, is I don't get sick that often! :)

Yeah, I got an office in downtown SF. I sure I picked this up from some homless person on the muni train. Damn me for taking public transit.

I have been working in the office of death. Everybody here is dropping like flies. I had what is know as "the rooster", or the
"both ends" sickness. totally fucking unpleasant. My advice is to you is drink LOTS of water and stay in bed. All you can do is sweat it out. Oh, and I got the damn flu shot too, and still got sick as a dog.

It totally sucks. :(

Yea I had it the last couple of days...damn immune system..work damn you! I've seen countless news flashes about global pandemics and such, showing flu trends and saying that we are overdue for a big one...like back in 1918. I'll try not to get too paranoid about it yet... :)
