Yet Another Verotel "Oops"!

Is the end near?

I am one of Verotel's first clients, actually going back to the Verza days.

Their latest massive deduction from my invoice has just about put me out of business.

Each month my income drops another 5% and it's totally due to the billing process or mistakes in accounting.

Their checking system is a joke and has actually "cost" me money. I finally had to remove that payment option from all my sites.

The only thing saving my sites is MY strong recurring database of satisfied members. However I'm always waiting for another "oops" mail from Verotel stating a problem with that too.

The $750 Visa fee the other processors charge seems like a bargain compared to the thousands of dollars Verotel has deducted from me this year.

I place this message in hopes that other webmasters can ease my mind a bit and let me know what Verotel is doing is common with other processors. Or perhaps direct me to other billing processors who don't have all these issues.

Thanks

Ibill
:thumbsup

They make money.

Ccbill has been good for me too, but Ibill seems to get more signups.

Female_Ejaculation 12-11-2003 09:21 AM

I'm looking into Ibill today.

I always remember their processing fees were the highest.

I've always had a good relationship with Paul and Joost at Verotel, but their actions really have me concerned lately.

Friendships don't pay the bills.

Thread got buried.

Ever looked into Epoch?

if you are looking to get lost in another crowd, Ibill or CCbill are good places to hide.

You should really look into Netbilling. Although you have to pay the Visa/Mastercard registration fees, their processing fees are about 1/2 of what the others charge and their system is amazing.

yeah verotel fuck me too with there checking system, cost me thousands, almost ran me out of business also.

they checking system is not real time, so everything they paid u for, and later if it didn't go thru they take it back. check system suckes and I think they will be around long either.

I;m telling you again... process your checks (and credit cards) with Netbilling. We swear by them and theior pricing is lower than any other processor that is worth a damn.

I've never had any issue with Verotel other than poor support in over a year. I hear things all the time tho, but nothing verifiable.

Verotel checks are completely insecure. I get a Kyle Broslowski from South Park CO signing up every week. I can't believe they don't have a way to scrub it.

Ibill will not pay out your reserves so add 10% to the costs.
