PS2 online games are pretty cool. Plus PS2 has more titles available. You do miss out on some features that the x-box has though like better graphics, that nice build in hard drive etc. As far as game play I like the PS2 better and I hate the x-box controllers. I've got both, the Xbox is the better machine, but there are more games for the PS2. Basically, if you don't want GTA 3-4-5, buy the xbox.Comment

Definitely a better system overall.
PS2 used to have better games, but XBOX has really stepped up and acquired the rights to some good games.
It really comes down to the types of games you are interested in. PS2 has Final Fantasy, which is a real draw for some people. They also have Gran Turismo. Need for speed underground is good, but probably won't compare to GT. Now that Xbox has the Grand Theft Auto franchise, it makes them a strong contender. PS2 is the only system that has online for the EA Sports games. So it really all depends on the type of games you are into. (action, sports, racing, RPG, etc..) XBOX is the best system with specs, but PS2 definitely has some draw too.Comment

Know what you mean... I got hooked on Zelda. That was a great game. Didn't like that last few though, not interested in playing arcade type games within the RPG game. Still fun... beat them all except the last two that came out... Don't have the gamecube and refuse to buy it just for Zelda and just never bothered with the second one for the 64 system..... lost interest in it. I am paranoid about buying another game system since I bought the Sega Dreamcast and they discontinued it shortly after buying it.

i have both. i have 2 xbox's one for xbox live, the other one modded all crazy like with emulators for all the other systems out there, and a few hundred snes and nes games on it....xbox for sure.

It can be a hard decision...both systems have their advantages. Now that many big games are featured on both consoles, having to choose a system based on game isn't as critical. I have a PS2, and love the GTA seriesand am glad to hear that x-box will have it soon, but the graphics and texture of many x-box games make some of mine look bad...
