Yes but yours doesnt have any zoom does it Sleazy!!
I mean it has digital but that fucks up the image a little as you zoom it...

And it is looking like this one is like .9 inches thick and the one we have is .8 inches thick?

I have EX-S3...pretty cute little thing :) was thinking about getting the Z4 but decided to wait until they release Z5 :)
mostly because Z4 is much thicker and heavier than mine...

chowda 12-11-2003 07:04 AM

i have a z3.

corvette 12-11-2003 07:50 AM

i was thinking about getting a Z3 this week, thinner than the z4, not having the zoom is a drawback, but i dont use the zoom that often

any major problems with the z3?

corvette 12-11-2003 08:12 AM

sorry, EX-S3

I ordered the Z4 and according the the tracking ##'s, it should be here today!

I'll give a report when it shows up and I try it out.

chowda 12-11-2003 08:47 AM

i dont know if sleazy can back it up, but recording movies is not what this thing is for.

4 Mpixels, sounds great. Casio may not be the #1 camera maker but it seems like they are pretty strong, I had a canon but it got fucked up after 3 months of use... I never had one single problem with my casio Exilim Ex-S2...

The camera just arrived. I plugged it in and let it charge for a few minutes then took a snap before letting it charge all the way up.

It's small as hell, and easy to get the image onto the computer, you just put it on it's cradle and hit the USB button, and the computer pops up a screen to download the pics. Real simple.

Here's the pic. I have to read the manual and learn the settings and such, all I did was turn it on and snap. I compressed the jpeg myself. I'll take some more when it's charged up.

I don't know what the settings are I gotta read the manual.

I did compress the pic from over a meg down to 200K.

I'll shoot some more when I get the settings figured out.

Plus I gotta go buy a big ass'd SD card for it.
